My name is Danijela and my story with mugs started several years ago
when ceramics suddenly called me and I decided to answer the call.
I left my job and found myself in the story with clay,
shaping, decorating, glazing, firing in a kiln…
Among all the products I made, mugs became
a special source of joy and happiness that they give me during the making,
the possibility of expressing my personality and fulfilling a creative need.
The mugs are mostly decorated with botanical elements, hand-painted flowers and imprints of real leafs or twigs.
This is not a coincidence as I am a huge lover of forest and hiking.
The family house when the ceramic studio is situated is in Našice, Croatia.
Since my hometown is surrounded by mountains, my idea of a perfect day is always within arm's reach:
walking in the forest with my husband, son and a dog, photographing the mugs surrounded by forest magic
to show what motivates my while I am making them.
I named the brand Gea Magia because I think there is something special in a product handcrafted from earth
and that this primal energy can make little drinking rituals very special.
